The Montana Artisan Center is a small business located
in Bigfork Montana. All of us here work closely together and this
is essential to our business success. Our work is a natural extension
of our daily involvement with the forests of Montana and our common
love of labor on the land. Our personal lives are based in the forest
and surrounding areas too, as we are avid hunters and fishermen during
our free time. By working with nature’s given materials, we are able
to remain close to the land which is the source of our products--and
our inspiration.

As a young boy Andy often spent time at work with his Dad in their cabinet shop. Even at that age, he remembers being amazed that his Dad could select a few pieces of wood and create some beautifully detailed piece of furniture or cabinetry. Andy has inherited his Dad's eye for acute detail. He has an extensive background in fine finish work, and cabinetry and furniture building is his true passion. He lives by the words his Dad taught him as a young boy "If it's worth building, it's worth building right. You put your signature on everything you do."
